Sister Photo Shoot: Smoky Eyes and Braided Crowns

Hello, everybody!
Today I have some pictures to show you from a mini photo shoot that Emma and I took. What inspired us to do this was one thing-- boredom. Emma and I had been watching TV pretty much all day during one of the last days of my school break, and we were bored. So I suggested that I do Emma's hair and makeup! She didn't agree to the hair part initially, but I kind of did it anyway.;) After I had completed Emma's look, we took a couple pictures together, but I realized I wasn't as glam as she was, which prompted me to do my own hair and makeup! We then commenced to take a bunch of pictures together, and here are the results...

First off, a single, unedited shot of my hair and makeup. I was going for a bit of a smoky eye, but I wanted it to be different from Emma's makeup (you'll see below). My hair is half up in a rope crown braid, and I have a little bit of wave in the rest of my hair.

This is Emma's smoky eye! She fidgeted a lot and put up a fight with certain things I did (like her eyeliner), but it was all in good fun. We had quite the time!

Her hair is up in a complete crown braid. I wanted our hair and makeup to coordinate, but not match. I like for us to look different from each other, but to also look as though we belong together.

And now, for the photo shoot! Just so you know, I've made some comments here and there below the pictures, and we also played with filters. Enjoy!

Serious...

Now smile!

I feel as though the one above looks like Emma and I are in a mystery movie!

*Snarky face*

And serious once again.

Just kidding! Not so serious anymore!

Last shot, playing with angles.

I hope you enjoyed these photos! We had a great time playing with our makeup and posing for these shots, and I'd love to do it again sometime!

Minnie Mouse and Red Jacket

Hi, everybody!
I know- long time, no post. At least from me anyways! Life has gotten so busy for me, and I haven't really had time to sit down and blog. I'm in school currently, so that has been my top priority as of late. But I've found some time, so I decided to write up a blog post for you!
Here is an outfit that I wore to school last week. I wore a Minnie Mouse graphic tee, a red moto jacket, some straight leg jeans, and my black Converse. I accessorized with some bracelets, two necklaces, my silver mask ring that I wear everyday, and a pair of earrings (sorry, there isn't a very good shot of those). This is a great look to wear for school or a casual outing, like going to the movies or the mall. It's comfortable and stylish all in one!

As you can see with this last photo, I played around with mixing my bracelets/"arm candy" to create a fun, new look for my outfit. Do you ever experiment with mixing up your jewelry combinations?
