Back to Winter- Black Cardigan and Skinny Jeans

Hey everyone, Emma here!:) I made this outfit when it was winter, that's why the title is how it is.;)

(Please excuse my messy room ;D)
I'm wearing a light pink tank top, my sister's black cardigan, and my skinny jeans. I really liked this outfit because it looks cute while still being more sophisticated.:)

Ripped Jeans and Powder Pink

HEY Y'ALL! It's Emma here!:) Two weeks ago, on Sunday, I wore this ensemble and Kendra said it was blogging worthy!;)

I'm wearing a sheer, light pink blouse with some pretty designs on the chest that, unfortunately, don't show because of my hair (:/), ripped patchwork skinny jeans, and my studded, pewter sneakers!:)

How to Wear: Galaxy Prints

Galaxy outfits

This outfit was made by my sister Emma. The galaxy trend has been going strong lately. A lot of outfits that I have seen use galaxy print leggings in the outfit, but if you aren't quite that bold, you can wear a shirt with some jeans for a very casual and wearable outfit. But if you want to go for the legging look, I would wear a solid top in a corresponding color (or a neutral, like black). I would also suggest that the top be long enough to cover your rear, since leggings tend to cling. Or you could wear a simply shaped, neutral colored skirt over the leggings, for slightly less impact and another cool look.

As for shoes, you can basically wear anything you want! Leggings would look good with TOMS or Converse for school (or just anytime!), sandals in the summer (although why would you want to wear leggings in the summer?), and boots in the winter.

And lastly, have fun with the accessories!:)

You Belong Here- Yellow and Cobalt Blue

You Belong Here

I really enjoy combining two different colors together. One of my favorite combinations is yellow and blue. What is cool about color combining, is that one color can be really light and mellow (like the yellow in this set) and the other color can be bold (like the cobalt). I think it makes a cool look.:) What colors do you like to combine?

Pink Paradise
Pink Paradise by uniquelyyou4ever featuring a double breasted trench coat

This set was made by Emma, but I'm going to post about it.:) As I've previously mentioned, pastel pink is a great spring color this year. To stay warm during the cold snap that may be present right now, use this pretty color in your jacket or other cold weather accessories. You'll be ahead of everyone else for spring 2013! If you are wondering how we made this cool set, visit Polyvore.com. If you already have an account there, stop by our Polyvore pages. Cute Finds!

Hey guys! I'm going to give you some cute ideas for the cold weather that will hopefully inspire you! All of these adorable peices came from Kohls.com.

This sweater is adorable and easy to wear- pair with black skinny jeans, yellow bag, and navy/black knee-high boots.

This knit sweater would look daring and bold paired with gray jeans, red converse, and a yellow bag.

This classic item would be perfect with white skinny jeans, a purple bag, and black ankle boots.

Simple sweater, but the easiest piece of your closet to style, pair with white skinny jeans, sparkly flats, and a yellow purse.

There are so many other designs for this shirt at Kohls like houndstooth, skulls, polka dots, stars, and hearts.

This long sweater coat looks great with denim skinny jeans, a pair of wedges, and a yellow purse.

This sweater is super preppy which I love. All you need to do is add with denim jeans and converse.

This sweater is very comfy and you can pair with ANYTHING!

I hope you have a great night! Stay tuned for tomorrow- when I return from my shopping trip!

Bomber Jacket Two Ways- Emma's Version

Super

Super by artisticvision

Hello this is Emma! I'll be posting more often. This is how I would imagine how to use a bomber jacket for a casual and formal look. For a casual look I would use a printed shirt, a pair of colored jeans that share the same color that is on the top. Add some boots, a neutral purse, a  simple necklace, and bold earrings for a look you can wear most anywhere. For the formal look, the bomber jacket seems masculine, so I thought pairing it with a feminine, lace dress would a make a great outfit, then add a unique clutch, (if the clutch has more then one color try to add the least used color in that clutch and use that color in a small accessories like I did in the bracelet), then wear a pair of sparkly strappy heels!:) I hope my outfits inspire you to have a fresh and unique twist to whatever you wear!

Bomber Jacket Two Ways- Kendra's Version

Bomber Jacket Two Ways

Bomber Jacket Two Ways by fashiongal96

Hey guys! It's Kendra.:) I am introducing a new feature to the blog. My sister Emma and I are going to do this post of both of our ideas of how to wear a piece of clothing two ways. I'll be posting her idea in a few days. She will make two looks and so will I. This is my idea of how to wear a bomber jacket two ways. If you want, wear boots with the casual look. Also, if it's cold out or the dress is too short, pair tights with the pumps or leggings with boots for the formal look. Leather pieces(shirts, jackets, pants) are a big trend for this fall, FYI. Have a great day!

How to Wear Leather Pants

Hello everyone! It's Kendra.:) This is my idea of how to wear leather pants for casual and formal purposes. For casual/school- pair the pants with a simple top, sneakers, a varsity inspired jacket, and add some accessories! If you're not wearing it to school, you can use a purse instead of a backpack. To get the formal look- pair the pants with a sparkly or formal top, add some heels, use a clutch, throw on a blazer if it's cool out, and add accessories. And just so you know, I incorporated some of fall's trends in these outfits- leather, varsity inspired, blazers, and sparkle! If you have a fashion request, let me know!

Summer pieces turned Fall/Winter

Summer pieces turned Fall/Winter

Summer pieces turned Fall/Winter by fashiongal96

Hey everyone! It's Kendra.:) This is my idea of how to turn some summer staples into cold weather wear! How to get the pink outfit- wear your summer tank with long pants(printed or jeans), add an unbuttoned cardigan, cinch with a belt, add some boots and accessories, and your look is complete! How to get the red outfit- take your summer shorts and layer them on top of leggings or tights. If your shorts are a solid color or denim, you can use a patterned legging incorporating the color in your shorts. If your shorts are patterned, choose a color in your shorts and find some leggings in that color. Add a long sleeve shirt, boots, a jacket(if it's cold), and some accessories. Quick note: who says that black and brown don't go together! You just need to mix the same amount of both colors in your outfit. The leopard leggings in the red outfit pull the brown and black pieces together as well. If you have a scarf or something with both black and brown in it, you can use that to pull your outfit together! If you have some summer pieces that you would like to have turned into cold weather clothes, let me know by either emailing me(see my profile) or comment below. But if you email me, your request will be made public. If you don't want your name used or made public, I can make you anonymous. Also, if you like a piece of clothing in any of my examples, I can give you the info for it(price, where to buy, if it's still available). Have a great day!:)
