I'm a Happy Camper!

Hi, everybody!

Have you ever heard of Bruxie? It's this amazing restaurant that uses waffles in pretty much everything they serve. My favorite thing to eat there is the chicken and waffle sandwich. It's basically fried chicken and a bit of coleslaw inside of a big waffle that's folded in half, topped with syrup. It's so good -- a combination of sweet and spicy (due to the spices on the chicken). But anyways, we got to go to Bruxie a couple days ago, and I got to take my mind off of school for a little while to enjoy the afternoon there. Here is what I wore to Bruxie!

I really like wearing colored jeans, because they can add that extra "oomph" to a basic outfit. I also like pairing navy tops with red jeans, since I feel like a navy top worn with blue jeans can feel a bit too "blue" for me sometimes.

So, what do you think? Do you like colored jeans?

"Tuckled" Green Cardigan and Gold Belt

Hey, everybody! Today I have an outfit that I put together in January to show you. It's a super simple outfit that anyone can wear-- a cardigan, skinny bootcut jeans, some jewelry, a belt, and a pair of flats. I decided to "tuckle" my cardigan, so that the belt would be a more prominent feature in my outfit.

My necklace is kind of a fun touch, because it has a message!;)

Have a great day!

Red Jeans and Artsy Accessories

Hey everyone! Today I wanted to show you an outfit that I made in February. I felt like an artist in this outfit, although I'm not much of an artist in the way of drawing or painting. But I do like the idea of being one! I may not be the artist of the family (that's my sister Emma, by the way), but at least I can dress the part.:) To me, the colors of the outfit, the big necklace, and the turtleneck all convey a feeling of "artsy." What do you think?

I really love this outfit. I could see myself changing the shoes to some simple, black ballet flats and wearing this outfit to an art show or museum.
Have a great day!

My Equestrian Outfit- Daily Style Inspiration 10/11/12

For your daily style inspiration, I'm going to show you an outfit that I styled myself! I just took a twirly skirt in a bold color, added a neutral button down top, tied on a skinny metallic belt, and put on a pair of cowboy boots to add a pop of fun to the outfit.

I think that the cowboy boots are kinda unexpected in this prim and proper outfit.:) The cowboy boots and equestrian theme are major trends for this fall, as you have probably already learned from my previous post.;)

I hope that you are inspired to try this trend this fall! If you have any questions about how to style a piece of clothing (equestrian themed or not), feel free to email me! My email address is available on my profile page. Have a wonderful day!:)
